Thirupaavai - Song -12

In this song also Aandaal has described the richness of her seventh friend. But she has addressed the cowherds as ''innocent and humble '' community, who knew only Krishna. They live only for Krishna. So they never commit any sin. Whatever they do become sacred and an act of devotion.

Aandaal is asking her friend to answer what she has gained by having such a long sleep. In this sleep we can see many things only as dreams. But when we became aware and able to see the absolute truth, whatever we think will come true. This is called as ''siddhi''.

Aandaal says that all most everybody in their gang has joined in the viratham. This is the identification of overall awareness which we attain through Guru. When we are clear from ignorance it is very easy for other areas of our ego to leave us. Krishna has been described as ''MUKIL VAN.NAN''...meaning a dark colored man, like the cloud which is ready to rain. This shows that when we are totally aware and detached, the Lord is ready to shower his grace and blessings. This will be realized from 25th song.

Again Nama sangeerthanam is insisted on here to bring our wandering mind under control.

Exercise: Try to be very honest and humble to people from morning to night and observe how you enjoyed their company.
